Esopus

The Repair Cafe in Esopus was started by Laura Petit, now retired Recycling Coordinator for the Town of New Paltz, an Ulster County Legislator and the Climate Smart Coordinator for Esopus. The Esopus Repair Cafe is part of the Esopus Environmental Board. Laura stepped down from running the cafe in May of 2024 and handed over the reins to Mark Ellison and Chris DeCicco.

Esopus is a Hudson River town in Ulster County and includes the Hamlets of Port Ewen, Ulster Park, Rifton, Connelly, Esopus, St. Remy and West Park.
