Bring your beloved but broken item to the Mamakating Library!
The Mamakating Library will hold a “small-scale, open air” Repair Cafe this Saturday, October 3 from 11 to 3.
Note: Full pandemic protocols will be in place: masks required for all, 6 ft social distancing, and hand sanitizer on hand!
And (drumroll), we'll have Miss Maybell and the Jazz Artistes performing from 12-1! We'll be in the parking lot behind the library, with parking on the street.
Check mamakatinglibrary.org for more information.
We have skilled volunteer repairers for some of these categories: furniture, toys, electric appliances, clothing and other textiles, jewelry, and even brass instruments! Plus knife and scissor sharpening (2 items per person).
Free repairs by experts who are also your neighbors—how great is that!
Note: We do not have anyone to repair digital devices...yet! Could that be you?
If you want to bring something you're not sure we can repair, please get in touch with us ahead of time. Write to the Library at pjohansen@rcls.org
