newburgh
The Newburgh Repair Cafe was started several years ago by Damian DePauw of IMPACT!, Inc. and Orange County Legislator Kevindaryan Lujan. In 2025, the baton was handed to Kate Clarke and Kristen Thornton-De Stafeno of the Newburgh Free Library which will also become the new location for the Newburgh Repair Cafe.
Repair Cafes have the triple aim of engaging local citizens to come out and meet each other, saving people money by helping them repair beloved but broken items and keeping those repairable items out of landfills thus protecting our environment.
Newburgh, NY is a very diverse community with a strong community fabric. People here band together and help each other when it is needed. Come to our next Newburgh Repair Cafe happening this fall and see for yourself!
