The next Rivertowns Repair Cafe will be held on August 2nd from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Dobbs Ferry Library located at 55 Main Street in Dobbs Ferry. This will be a small pop-up repair cafe with only a few stations—electrical/mechanical, textiles and jewelry repair—as a part of the Dobbs Ferry Earth Overshoot Day.

Earth Overshoot is calculated to be the day when our demands on the Earth’s resources “overshoot” the resources the Earth can create for us that year. To raise awareness, the Library will be hosting events from 10am-8:30pm for all ages along with partners from Dobbs Ferry’s Zero Waste committee and Rivertowns Repair Cafe.
